You can purchase ANY home on the open market, including new construction, resale homes, condos, townhomes, or single-family properties. Officer Next Door® is not restricted to HUD or foreclosed homes.
Yes. The program is available to full-time and part-time law enforcement professionals, including police officers, deputies, corrections officers, dispatchers, investigators, and eligible law enforcement support staff.
No. There are no application fees, no up-front costs, and no hidden charges. Applying is completely free.
Yes. The program works alongside
FHA, VA (for eligible veterans), and conventional loan options, based on your
qualifications. The application is free, simple, and does not require a credit check.
